The little method is a blend of all the theatrical methods, just the best parts. Rooting in balancing energy, emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, unity of community and self empowerment. The little method teaches students to find their inner creative spark, to cultivate peace, space to thrive, and the power of personal freedom to express. The method is based in student learning, we work at each individual students pace, what is their unique strengths? how can we cultivate the happiest, and most empowered children. Heidi herself is known in the industry as a "Triple Threat" which means her education is in Voice, Dance, and Acting both Drama and Improv, film and television, professionally as a singer/songwriter for 30 years. We believe that every child has a unique gift, and that their greatest gifts, and other talents can be cultivated in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Play write to Stage lite is a new theater class designed for writers, actors, builders, painters, lighting techs, musicians and theater kids of all ages.
Designed and directed by 25 year performance and writer veteran Heidi Little.
Students will work on dramaturgy, acting technique, character development, improve, stage technique, props and set design, lighting, music, full dress rehearsal and a final performance .
Open call is designed to see the ages, talents, and skill set of children interested in writing and then putting up their very own show. Once the paper work is taken care of Heidi will place each child into an appropriate age group for their portion of the play. We will blend classes as we get closer to run through and opening night.
We will begin writing and learning acting technique dependent on skill set on Sunday November 30th 2013 class time is from 1-3 pm each Sunday. We will meet weekly on Sundays from 1-3 , building our play. We will break for Christmas from Dec 14 - Jan 4th our return date, during our weeks we will write our story line, dream into reality our characters, learn important acting techniques for stage and film, design set pieces, and build, complete with assistant stage managers, assistant directors, lighting and sound technicians, 1 full dress rehearsal and a final performance we will schedule at a sister theater.
Total cost for Play write to Stage Lite will be $145.00 per child, and an additional $20.00 for costume, and or set pieces, lighting, etc, closer to final performance. The profit made from our final production will go to help costs for 2014 's Spring into Summer workshop/camp, and we will partner with the local food banks as our charity and pay it forward.
All our work will be done at Austin Eco School on Sundays for Play Write To Stage Light. Little Method Children’s Theater goes by a no child left behind policy. Scholarships are available. Also beginning November 29th and running on Saturdays are our group classes. Private classes can be scheduled throughout the week.
